The delivery vehicles towards the center of pandemic

Over the past few days, the people at Dak Lak province have been donating tons of vegetables to the pandemic hotspot at Da Nang, Quang Nam.

For the bundles of vegetables to reach the people at the pandemic area, many garages and businesses have readily sent the unit’s vehicles, drivers and supporting staff every day.

After receiving information regarding kitchens at Da Nang, Quang Nam cooking for charity for the quarantine zones are lacking vegetables, on August 6th, Team Rau 47 organized by Ms. Nguyen Thi Thai Thanh, CEO of Ban Me Green Farm (Buon Ma Thuot City), as the representative to call for everyone’s support for vegetables for the kitchens at Da Nang, Quang Nam. After a few hours of searching on the social networks, many friends, loved ones and organizations have actively contacted and ready to assist the kitchens in the center pandemic region.

The number of fruits and vegetables gathered at 47 Duong Van Nga, Tan Thanh Ward (Buon Ma Thuot City) – the supporting address for receiving goods of Ms. Thanh’s group is increasing. At first, the group faced challenges during the delivery phase as long-distance buses to Da Nang have stopped. Ms. Thanh and her friends resorted to Facebook again to call for help, looking for somebody to assist with delivering. Initially, she hoped that individuals and organizations to help transport 3-5 packages would be fortunate enough. Fortunately, Nhat Tin Logistics at Tay Nguyen branch (Thang Loi Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City) has agreed to deliver large quantities of the vegetables and fruits donated by the people of Dak Lak to Da Nang.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Chung, Head branch office, said that thanks to the information shared on social networks, it came to his attention that a volunteer group is in need of delivery services from Buon Ma Thuot to the pandemic region Da Nang, Quang Nam. Currently, the company has 3 deliveries from Buon Ma Thuot to Da Nang and back weekly. To be proactive in delivering goods for the group, Nhat Tin Logistics contacts them beforehand to discuss the delivery route and load weights to optimize organizing and assist as much as possible. Moreover, during the loading days, the company will arrange drivers and employees to help the group load and organize goods.

Similarly, when the volunteer group representative asked for help, Thai Hong Son Transport and Travel Limited Company (Thanh Cong Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City) did not hesitate to answer. Even though the company only has 1 delivery vehicle running 2 times per week for the Buon Ma Thuot – Da Nang route and vice versa.

“Currently, my vehicles only transport the necessities from Dak Lak to Da Nang using 1.9 tons truck, but it takes 2 to 3 days to gather enough goods for 1 trip. However, when realizing the people’s wish, the company decided to fully support the delivery trip from Dak Lak to Da Nang with the desire to contribute with the community to promote pandemic prevention and shoulder the burden with the people in the pandemic area,” Mrs. Tran Thi Hoa, CEO of Thai Hong Son shared.

Just after a week of launching the program, over 9 tons of vegetables and fruits have been transported to the kitchens at Da Nang, Quang Nam. Moreover, other necessities like rice, instant noodles, water bottles, etc. have also been donated to Team Rau 47.

Each passing day the group receives more goods than the day before, medical supplies and necessities donated by the sponsors to deliver to the people at Da Nang, Quang Nam. Just like that, the delivery vehicles stacked after one another, by many car stations and companies collaborating like Nhat Tin Logistics, Phytopharma, car stations such as Thai Hong Son, Mai Vy, Thanh Nha, Quoc Dat…
