Policy on shipping and receiving goods at Nhat Tin Logistics

I. Shipping policy

1. Methods of shipping goods

1.1. Shipping goods at home

Customers can request Nhat Tin’s employees to receive parcels, goods at your house or company in many ways:

  • Method 1: Call the Hotline 1900 63 6688 and create the order through a counselor.
  • Method 2: Access the website www.online.ntlogistics.vn and create an online order.
  • Method 3: Customers can download the app Nhat Tin on CH Play or App Store and create an order on the app.

1.2. Shipping goods at the post office

Customers can come directly to one of Nhat Tin’s post offices and use the delivery services.

2. General policies of shipping goods

  • Do not send banned items.
  • Check the goods in comparison to each successfully created order.
  • Check if the order has all the necessary information. Each order can have 1 or more items.
  • Provide the correct information on the quantity, size and weight of the product. The goods need to be packaged appropriately to ensure safety during the delivery process.
  • The goods will be examined by staff to check the contents, even for goods that customers have sealed themselves (excluding goods that has the manufacturer seal)

3. Methods of processing goods

3.1. Goods delivered using the air freight

  • Do not send dangerous goods.
  • The 3-dimensional size (Length x Width x Height) must not exceed the airlines’ size specified.

3.2. Food items, fresh items

  • Applies the Premium Express Delivery service’s fee rate.
  • Customers need to provide a “Certificate of Quarantine” provided by the appropriate authorities. The certificate needs to be within its effective time and accompany the goods.
  • There is a quarantine fee (stamp of quarantine at the airport).
  • Goods need to be packed with foam boxes, ensuring the standard temperature during the delivery process. Do not store with dry ice.

3.3. High-value goods

  • The category includes cell phones, laptops, sim cards, electronic devices, high-end fashion goods, etc.
  • Customers and employees must co-check the quantity, the type of goods and other details to fill in clearly and accurately all information regarding the order on the bill of lading of Nhat Tin.
  • Customers need to accurately report the goods’ values on the bill of lading in the box “Declared values”. Staff members will base on the declared values to calculate the delivery fees exclusive for high-value goods (delivery fee has already included the fee for high-value goods).

3.4. Processing chemical goods, liquid goods for road transportation

  • Customers need to pack wooden boxes or use Nhat Tin Logistics’s wood packaging service to ensure security for the delivery process.
  •  Nhat Tin Logistics will charge an additional 20% on top of the total delivery fee. This fee is regarded as the processing fee for chemical and liquid goods and not as an insurance fee or packaging fee.

3.5. Processing fragile goods

  • Customers need to pack wooden boxes to ensure the security of the goods during the delivery process.
  • The overall lead time will add 04 hours to the order if the customer chooses to use Nhat Tin Logistics’s wood packaging service.
  •  Should the customers refuse to use wooden box packaging for the fragile goods, staff members will write clearly on the bill of lading as “Customer refuses to pack wooden boxes; broken goods are not liable for compensation.”

II. Receiving policy

1. General policies on receiving goods

1.1. Receiving shipment at the address

  • Nhat Tin Logistics’s employees will read carefully the information written on the bill of lading, checking the received goods request such as delivery time, documents transferring, collecting on behalf, addressing the receiver before delivering.
  • Staff members will contact customers over a phone call. When the receiver doesn’t pick up the call or is unable to contact, the Nhat Tin Logistics network will send information to the receiver through the App or SMS.
  • Nhat Tin Logistics will only agree to change the receiving address no more than 03 (three) times per order. Furthermore, there will be surcharges if the new address is more than 03 km from the original address.
  • Customers need to properly check the content of the goods before signing on the bill of lading.

1.2. Receiving shipment at the post office

  • When receiving goods at the post office, customers need to bring the identity card with them. The information on the identity card must match with the information written on the bill of lading.
  • If the customer receives it on others’ behalf, they must provide the identity card of the person receiving it and the authorization letter confirmed by the person on the bill of lading. The authorization letter must include the ID No. of both the authorizer and the authorized.
  • Customers need to provide the phone number of the receiver. The phone number needs to match with the information written on Nhat Tin Logistics’s bill of lading.
  • The employees will fill in the ID No., the date and location where it’s issued on the bill of lading after delivering the goods.

*A few notices regarding returning goods

  • If the delivery goods are unable to deliver, they will be returned to the post office or warehouse. For example, customers do not live in the address written on the bill of lading, fake address, unable to call on the phone, etc.
  • Nhat Tin’s employees will notify the customers to check the information and confirm the following solutions for the shipment if unable to deliver goods for reasons being the wrong address, changed to a new address or the receiver refused to accept the goods, etc.

There are 2 outcomes:

  • Customers can request returns: the staff will notify and confirm the return transaction from customers, proceeding to carry out the procedures for goods returns as prescribed.
  • Customers can request forwarding: the staff will notify and confirm forwarding transaction fee (if any) from customers, proceeding to carry out the freight forwarding procedures to the new address as prescribed.
